Block B of Dubai Municipality HQ occupies one of the city’s most recognisable civic settings along Dubai Creek. While iconic in location, the building required substantial infrastructural renewal and a complete rethinking of how it should perform as a modern workplace.
KPS was appointed to bring the building fully up to compliance while transforming 180,000 square feet into a contemporary civic environment aligned with the ambitions of one of the world’s most advanced cities.
This was far more than a refurbishment.
The building required new risers for water, HVAC, waste and power, alongside a new external substation...
